Howdy Neighbors! Does your family have a fire safety plan?

The Star Creek Annual Fire Safety & Prevention event is scheduled for Sunday, 11/11 from 12:30 - 2:30 pm at the Star Creek Clubhouse.

The Allen Fire Department is bringing a fire engine, mobile ICU truck, and their one-of-a-kind Safety Trailer to provide a hands-on experience for children and adults to learn how to exit a home during a fire as well as other home safety practices. The full-size safety trailer, configured like a typical home, provides a unique, hands-on simulation for kids of all ages on what to do in case of a fire in the home. There will be other hands-on demonstrations including a fire extinguisher simulation, information tables and games with prizes for kids of all ages! Come early for the demonstrations, games, fire truck tour and your turn in the Safety Trailer!

Chief Boyd and Chief Cannady will be on-site along with Engine Companies 4 and 5 to answer your questions about fire safety and help you create your family's fire safety plan.

Don't miss your opportunity to learn about fire safety & prevention practices as well as showing our support for our AFD first responders!
