The Allen Event Center announced its First Annual Open House that will benefit the Red Cross Haiti Relief Fund on Feb. 12 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
The main arena will be available for open skate sessions costing only $8, which includes skate rental. In addition to open skate, there will be a Winter Olympic Opening Ceremony watch party on the big screens.
NBA Legends Shawn Kemp, Billy Jo Dupree and A.C. Green will be on hand for attendees to meet as well as Allen Americans players, Ice Angels, and X-treme Ice Racers, who will be in town for the X-treme Ice Racing event at the Allen Event Center on Saturday, February 13 at 7:30 p.m.
The first 100 attendees will be elligible for door prizes like tickets for an Allen Americans hockey game or the X-treme Ice Racing event. Door prizes will also include Choctaw hockey jerseys, skate passes for the Allen Community Ice Rink and much more! The first 50 kids in attendance will receive free ice skating lesion with an Olympic coach Saturday, Feb. 13.
